Finished work early again in the hope of a late afternoon windsurfing session before it got dark. There was wind everywhere so instead of sailing nr. Queenstown, I ventured of 45 km further up the lake to Glenorchy thats noted for its speed sailing. The lake was whitecapping everywhere until I reached Glenorchy where it was breathless. Was a waste of time going windsurfing there today but the trip was definately worth it for the scenery. Truly amazing breathtaking stuff and its no wonder a lot of the lord of the rings scenes were filmed here.
